Why Kassie?
One of the most frequent questions I am asked about is,"Why Kassie?" It's an interesting story:
I used to be a drag performer called Pariah.(old high school name) One day, at an adult store, I seen a "She-male"
pornstar named, Morelle de Keigh. Hmmm. Moral decay, I loved it! So, I spent 2 years trying to find my moral decay.
One day, I was looking at a tattoo on my leg. I made a mistake of letting someone put their initial in my skin. I decided
to try something with a K incorporated in it. So, 12 or so pieces of notebook paper later, I came up with Kassie Nova. Thereafter,
when people asked who the K stood for, I could say it was me. "I finally had learned to love myself!!"
Shortly after, I stopped performing, but the name stuck with me in our community. I became Kassie. Or maybe, Kassie was
there all the time.
